Terms and conditions
  • Where ever the word ‘parent’ is used this can also mean ‘carer’ or ‘guardian’.
  • You will receive a prepared bill before the end of each month for next month’s fees. They are payable by/on the 1st of each month.
  • In order to maintain your child’s placement your account must be kept up to date.
  • A holding fee of £35 is payable on confirmation of your place. This is non refundable.  If you take up your place it covers Belle Vue starter pack.
  • Please ensure that all telephone numbers have been provided in order that you can be contacted in case of an emergency.
  • To prevent any awkward situations arising and unless any specific arrangements have been made in advance, the nursery must be informed on the day of any person other than yourself authorised to collect your child. A password, which is changed daily, will be allocated at the time of contact.
  • Please notify us if your child is to be absent due to illness.
  • Arrivals and departures between your booked times are set up to your discretion.
  • A charge will be made for any late collection after the contracted finishing time.
  • One month’s written notice is required to reduce or change sessions (if places are available), or to remove your child from the nursery, otherwise full fees are payable.
  • Bottles of formula/breast milk for bottle-fed babies must be provided by the parent. Alternatively bottles and formula should be provided by the parent so that we can make up the feeds.
  • A full change of clothing, clearly marked with the child’s name, is to be provided and left at nursery in case of accidents.
  • Please provide nappies for your child. If you use creams or have preferred wipes, these should also be provided, clearly marked with the child’s name.
  • Whist every care and attention is taken to prevent accidents, children of this age occasionally trip or bump themselves.  We take no responsibility for accidental injuries received at the nursery, all accident are recorded in our accident file and you will be asked to sign each accident form to confirm that you have been informed and are happy with all details.
  • Medicines are only administrated where a medicine form has been signed and while two members of staff are present.
  • If you are on the waiting list for places at the nursery, preference will be given to parents requiring full time or full day places.
  • The nursery is closed for bank holidays, should your child’s day fall on a bank holiday fees are payable in full. The nursery will be closed for 1 week over the Christmas period. Dates will be arranged annually. You will not be charged for this week
  • Occasionally outside visits are organised and these are approved on a visit by visit bases.
  • Additional sessions can be booked at our standard cost, providing places are available.
  • Belle Vue Nursery Ltd. does not offer a baby-sitting or nanny service.
  • For safety reasons, parents and other visitors must be accompanied by a member of staff whilst in the nursery rooms.
